The business units of PolR are divided into three main areas of activity: the distribution and fabrication of commercial and industrial insulation products, the design and manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and the design, manufacture, and installation of controlled modular environments.

More specifically, the units Nadeau (Quebec), Nu-West (Western Canada), Impro (Ontario), Scotia Insulations (Maritimes), and Shur-fit (Vancouver) specialize in the distribution and processing of commercial and industrial insulation products.

The Artik/OEM unit, which operates plants in both Canada and the United States, designs and manufactures thermal and acoustic insulation systems, as well as interior finishing products primarily for North American public transportation equipment manufacturers (buses and passenger cars).

With plants in Canada and the United States, Mecart is a recognized leader in the field of controlled environments, designing, manufacturing, and installing modular cleanrooms, control rooms, operator cabins, offices, and rest areas for extreme environments, sound studios, acoustical enclosure and other innovative environments designed upon request.
