New CEOs at POLR Enterprises Inc.

The Board of Directors of Pol R Entreprises Inc. recently appointed Patrice Genois and Christian Lafortune as Co-CEOs of the company.


QUEBEC, Canada, July 11, 2023 -- POLR Today announced new CEOs to lead POLR, replacing Benoît Poupart, who is retiring as CEO and manager. While Benoît remains Chairman of the Board, Patrice and Christian now assume all the positions of Chief Executive Officers at Pol R and presidencies of its subsidiaries and business units Mecart, Artik/OEM, Nadeau, Impro, Scotia Insulations, Nu-West and Shur-Fit.

Benoît has been at Pol R for over 40 years, including 25 years as Co-President and 8 years as CEO and Chairman of the Board. ‘’I'm leaving as CEO because the company is clearly ready for the next stage," said Benoît. ''We have in Christian Lafortune and Patrice Genois top-level leaders who have proven their worth with us; together with their teams, they will continue to drive the company forward in keeping with its values.’’ Pol R also intends to maintain its entrepreneurial spirit.

The business units of Pol R are divided into three main areas of activity: the distribution and fabrication of commercial and industrial insulation products, the design and manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and the design, manufacture, and installation of controlled modular environments.

More specifically, the units Nadeau (Quebec), Nu-West (Western Canada), Impro (Ontario), Scotia Insulations (Maritimes), and Shur-fit (Vancouver) specialize in the distribution and processing of commercial and industrial insulation products. The Artik/OEM unit, which operates plants in both Canada and the United States, designs and manufactures thermal and acoustic insulation systems, as well as interior finishing products primarily for North American public transportation equipment manufacturers (buses and wagons). With plants in Canada and the United States, Mecart is a recognized leader in the field of controlled environments, designing, manufacturing, and installing modular cleanrooms, control rooms, operator cabins, offices, and rest areas for extreme environments, sound studios, acoustical enclosure and other innovative environments designed upon request
